Regina’s Evraz Place will be one of the busiest spots in the province Saturday.
A number of big events are happening on that day, and Evraz Place is asking anyone coming onto the grounds to plan accordingly.
Between the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ CFL game, three separate hockey events and a craft show, parking spots may be at a premium. The events are:
Mosaic Stadium: Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. Edmonton Elks — Kickoff at 3 p.m., gates open at 1:30 p.m.
Brandt Centre: Regina Pats vs. Lethbridge Hurricanes — Puck drop at 7 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m.
Co-operators Centre: 32-team hockey tournament — Happening all day
Co-operators Centre Rink 6: University of Regina Cougars men’s hockey vs. University of Manitoba Bisons — Puck drop at 3 p.m.
Agribition Building: Our Best to You Handmade Craft Show — Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Because of the Riders game, Elphinstone Street will see its usual closure to vehicles on game day from Saskatchewan Drive to Dewdney Avenue starting at 11 a.m.
If drivers are going to the Riders game and have already paid for a parking pass, they’re asked to use the entrance off Lewvan Drive. As well, those going to the craft show or the Pats game are asked to use that gate.
Those going to the Co-operators Centre or AffinityPlex are being asked to use the Princess Street Gate entrance into Evraz Place.
