In the wake of Tuesday’s major storm, snow routes were put into effect in Regina on Wednesday afternoon.
No on-street parking will be allowed along the identified routes from Thursday at 6 a.m., to Friday at 6 a.m. That will allow crews to plow selected roads from curb to curb, improving traffic flow.
“Blue signs with a white snowflake identify where there is no parking during the 24-hour ban,” the City of Regina said in a media release. “Vehicles which remain parked on the snow route during the temporary parking ban will be ticketed.”
