Two days after charging a man with second-degree murder in Regina, police have issued a warrant for another man in connection with the case.
Police are looking for 32-year-old Ismail Ahmed Hassen in connection with the death of 29-year-old Ahi Ebrotie.
Just before 6 a.m. on Nov. 14, officers responded to the 2100 block of Heseltine Road after getting reports of a death.
Officers and paramedics arrived and found Ebrotie’s body. His death was declared a murder on Nov. 16.
Hassen is described as being black, six feet tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds, with an athletic build, black hair and brown eyes. His last-known address is in Toronto, Ont., so police say he may not be in Regina anymore.
He’s charged with second-degree murder and breach of a release order.
Anyone who sees Hassen or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
