A 34-year-old Regina man has been charged in connection with a recent break-in at Carmichael Outreach.
On the night of Nov. 19, someone broke into the charity’s office in the 1500 block of 12th Avenue and stole laptops, a safe continuing gift cards and cash, and other items.
During their investigation, police were able to collect evidence and view video footage that eventually led to the identification of a suspect.
The man was arrested Wednesday at the Regina Correctional Centre, where he was on remand on charges connected to a stolen vehicle.
He was charged with break, enter and commit theft, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (a credit card) and breach of a release order in relation to the break-in at Carmichael Outreach.
Police said the break-and-enter is still being investigated.
