The Weyburn Police Service continues to search for a 77-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen in more than a week.
Police say Frances Gazeley hasn’t been seen since Dec. 6 or Dec. 7, when she was observed on Regina Avenue in Weyburn. Her family hasn’t spoken to her since Dec. 6.
Gazeley is 5-foot-6 with blue eyes and grey hair. She requires medication that she does not have with her.
Investigators located the 51-year-old man they thought Gazeley may have been travelling with, but not the woman.
There was an increased police presence in the 1000 block of Regina Avenue in Weyburn on Wednesday as the search continued. The Mounties added they couldn’t say if the investigation was suspicious in nature.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Gazeley is asked to contact the Weyburn Police Service at 306-848-3250 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
