The Regina Folk Festival (RFF) will see a return to in-person festivities in August.
It has been two years since there was an in-person festival. Last year, RFF returned in a limited capacity with the Summer Satellites musical lineup.
Now, from Aug. 5 to 7 in Victoria Park, the festival will return fully to what it looked like in years past.
“We’re excited to share that the Regina Folk Festival will return after a two-year-long hiatus. Celebrating music and community is more important than ever to help balance the challenges we’ve all experienced,” the festival’s artistic director, Amber Goodwyn, said in a release. “The 51st edition of the RFF will feature festival favourites alongside fun, new surprises.
“We implore everyone to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated so that they can come party with us in the heart of the city next summer.”
Weekend passes are now available for purchase.
Full festival details including who will be performing have yet to be released.
