A 14-year-old boy is facing charges after police say he robbed a man during a meetup to buy a gaming console.
Police responded to the 2700 block of East Howell Drive in the Glencairn neighbourhood Monday night after getting calls regarding two people fighting in front of a house.
When officers arrived, they learned that the teen had met up with the victim to buy the console before he supposedly sprayed the victim with bear spray.
The suspect was arrested, he made his first court appearance on Tuesday for charges including robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
