The Regina Pats’ game scheduled for Friday against the Brandon Wheat Kings has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The WHL announced it has hit pause on the activities of the Wheat Kings and Kelowna Rockets because multiple players and staff had exhibited symptoms or had tested positive for COVID-19.
As a result, Brandon’s game at Regina and the Rockets’ games Friday in Everett, Wash., and Saturday in Vancouver were postponed.
The Brandon-Regina game was to be telecast on TSN.
The WHL also announced it had rescheduled a Swift Current Broncos game against the Winnipeg Ice to Feb. 27. The game initially was to be played this past Tuesday before being postponed due to COVID.
