Water main break causing issues on Broad Street

City of Regina crews will be dealing with a water main break on Broad Street until Saturday.

The city said in a media release Friday the break was at the intersection of Broad Street and 11th Avenue. Northbound traffic on Broad Street was to be detoured between 12th Avenue and Saskatchewan Drive, and the southbound left turn lane off of Broad in the area was closed.

Transit routes also were being affected by the break, so riders were urged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.

Repairs are slated to be finished Saturday, weather permitting.
