A North Battleford family endured a terrifying hour Saturday after their car with one-month-old twins inside was stolen.
According to the North Battleford RCMP, the car was stolen just after noon from the alley between the 1400 blocks of 103rd Street and 104th Street in North Battleford. The twins and two dogs were in the vehicle.
The Mounties responded and found the car at around 12:35 p.m., in the alley between the 800 blocks of 109th Street and 110th Street with one of the children inside.
Officers and a canine unit scoured the area and subsequently found the second child in their car seat in the alley between the 1300 blocks of 109th Street and 110th Street.
The infants and the dogs weren’t harmed and were reunited with their family.
The RCMP is asking anyone who lives in the area or who may have been in the area at the time to check their security video or dashboard cameras to see if they have footage of the incident.
