An employee of a delivery company has been charged after some items ended up at his Melville home instead of in the hands of customers.
The RCMP said Monday officers from the Melville detachment and the Yorkton Provincial and Municipal General Investigation Sections executed a search warrant at a home in Melville on Thursday. They found and seized more than 40 items, including electronics and household appliances.
The 38-year-old man was charged with one count each of theft from mail over $5,000, theft over $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused is to make his next appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Feb. 28.
