School buses in and around Regina cancelled because of conditions

Students attending schools in and around Regina had to find another way of getting there.

The Regina public and Catholic school divisions as well as all the Prairie Valley and Prairie South School Division buses were cancelled because of the conditions.

There are plans to reassess routes for the afternoon.

Two schools were closed — St. Nicholas School and Plainsview School, which are in the same building in northwest Regina — because of impassable roads and blowing, packed snow. The schools are expected to be open Wednesday.

Parents were reminded to contact their schools if their kids won’t be attending class.
