8:30 – Truckers remain encamped on Parliament Hill, despite Justin Trudeau’s declaration of the Emergencies Act on Monday, giving police new powers to end the protest. Blocked border crossings in Surrey, British Columbia, and Coutts, Alberta have now reopened, but the resignation of Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly Tuesday may slow down the process in Ottawa. Meanwhile, the Conservatives announced their opposition to the act, which must come before Parliament and the Senate within a week. Jordan Press with the Canadian Press joins Mike to catch up on the latest news on the protests and Emergencies Act.

According to a government news release, leading agri-food export commodities in 2021 continue to be canola seed, canola oil, non-durum wheat, lentils, durum and dry peas, with top international market destinations including the United States, China, Japan and Mexico. Agriculture Minister David Marit joins Mike to discuss what this means for the provincial economy.

10:30 – After a cyberattack made the list of GiveSendGo donors to the protest convoy public, some media in Canada have been using the hacked list to further their stories. According to Ezra Levant with the Rebel Media, major Canadian media outlets have been combing through the illegally hacked database of GiveSendGo donors, emailing them, and asking them to explain their donations. Levant says this is “Trudeau’s state broadcaster… doxing Trudeau’s political opponents,” and noted that those contacted may suffer financial penalties under the Emergencies Act. Levant joins Mike to share the details, and why the media’s use of the hacked list is concerning for him.
