Regina police is confirming that a second Regina male is facing numerous weapons-related charges in relation to a 10-month, integrated investigation into the trafficking of firearms and drugs according to a press release.
The Regina Crime Reduction Team partnered with the Calgary Police Service and RCMP to conduct an investigation related to firearms and drug trafficking.
The report stated that a 31-year-old man from Regina was arrested and charged on Feb. 17, 2022.
He faces charges of weapons trafficking, possession for the purposes of weapons trafficking, two counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm and more.
The man’s first court appearance was on Feb. 17 at 9:30 a.m. in provincial court.
