11:00 – Joseph Bourgault has announced he will be running for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. Bourgault is the CEO of Bourgault Tillage Tools and the Founder and President of a non-profit organization called Canadians for Truth. Bourgault was born and raised in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan, and he joins Gormley to discuss his platform and goals.

12:00 – A book publisher is revitalizing a Ukrainian storybook that kept her entertained as a child, and raising funds for the Canada Ukraine Foundation at the same time. Lorene Shyba says her Babka used to read to her from “The Little Book” by Mykola Matwiczuk was originally published in 1932 and was used as part of the curriculum for Canadian-Ukrainian children in prairie schools. Containing poetry, parables, alphabet letters, and illustrations, Shyba says the book has been with her for her entire life. Now, she’s publishing a new edition of the book, with new translation, and donating the proceeds to the Canada Ukraine Foundation. Shyba joins Gormley to tell us more about the project.
