A 36-year-old man who was wanted on a province-wide warrant has been taken into custody.
Broadview’s Justin McKay was arrested on Friday without incident.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Deanna McKay from Regina is still wanted.
Regina Police Service (RPS) said in a press release that in the early hours of March 5, a 35-year-old female contacted police to report her and another female had been kidnapped, held against their will, assaulted and robbed.
RPS managed to locate both victims who had sustained injuries.
Deanna McKay is described as female with brown eyes, about 5’ 6” tall, weighing about 170 pounds with a medium build and long, straight brown hair.
Police added McKay has tattoos including a face/crying blood on her right hand, a clown face on her left hand and lettering across her upper chest.
Currently, McKay is being charged with the following two counts of kidnapping, two charges of forcible confinement, aggravated assault and two counts of armed robbery.
