The investigation into an incident of indecent exposure at a Regina department store in June of 2019 has finally resulted in charges.
A 57-year-old man who’s currently an inmate at the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre was arrested Thursday and charged with indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age as well as breach of recognizance.
Regina police say the incident happened at a department store in the 4500 block of Gordon Road on June 2, 2019.
The man was seen walking through the store’s aisles just after 4 p.m. About 45 minutes later, he went into the children’s clothing section and began to masturbate. A girl saw the man and told her mother.
The police eventually identified the man, who was bound at the time by a surety to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The man has made his first court appearance on the charges.
