Heavy snow and cold temperatures could soon be coming to the prairies, but Saskatchewan will likely escape the worst of it.
Environment Canada is tracking a winter-like storm coming up from Colorado.
The agency said Saturday that it will likely come in during the middle of the week, but Manitoba will face the most of it. However, the same weather system could bring a small amount of snow to the southeast corner, and will drop temperatures across Saskatchewan.
In Regina, the forecast shows high temperatures at or below 0 C for the entire week.
In Saskatoon, the highs will be at -1 C or lower.
