A call for service led to police making three arrests and laying weapon and drug charges.
Early Friday morning, police responded to a woman who was asking for assistance in the 2300 block of Reynolds Street.
Police learned the woman had been assaulted by two women and a man who had then fled on foot.
Using the police canine unit, the suspects were tracked to an apartment in the 400 block of College Avenue.
Two women and a man were arrested, and police found a sawed-off rifle, a cattle prod-style taser, illegal drugs and cash.
The 32-year-old man has been charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of proceeds of crime, assault with a weapon and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both women, 32 and 28, were charged with assault.
