As a result, police are asking for help from anyone with information that could help the investigation.
According to a media release, officers responded around midnight to the 700 block of Rae Street after a person reported hearing what sounded like up to six gunshots. The Communications Centre also got a call about the shots from another person in the area.
Conversations with people didn’t produce results for the officers, and a check of the area didn’t find suspects, people with injuries or damage from gunshots.
