A simple traffic stop in Regina has resulted in drug- and weapons-related charges against three people.
On Sunday at about 11:30 p.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle in the 900 block of Albert Street and saw open alcohol inside. A male passenger also was identified as being wanted on warrants.
A search of the vehicle turned up a sawed-off rifle, brass knuckles, bear spray, methamphetamine, fentanyl and drug trafficking materials.
A 32-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman all were arrested. They made their first court appearances Monday.
