8:30 – The provincial and federal green parties joined forces this week to call on Premier Scott Moe to abandon his push for nuclear energy in the province. In a joint statement, provincial leader Naomi Hunter and federal leader Amita Kuttner said pursuing small modular reactor technology would be “a disastrous misstep” when cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable energy sources are readily available. Hunter joins Gormley to explain why she thinks nuclear energy would be a bad move for the province.

Crowley has written a number of essays on the state and future of conservative politics, and he joins Gormley to tell us how the leadership race could change more than the face of right-wing politics in Canada going forward.
