More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
A 52-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation involving residents of a care home in Hepburn, with some of the alleged incidents dating back 30 years.
According to a release, the Rosthern RCMP got a report April 19 about the incidents. The Mounties allege that between 1992 and 2009, five adults who lived at the facility were sexually assaulted by a male staff member.
The man hasn’t worked at the facility since 2009.
Brent Gabona of Waldheim was arrested Tuesday and charged with five counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.
He was to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Friday.
