A summer staple in Saskatoon is returning to its former glory.
Rock 102’s Show and Shine Weekend will be held Aug. 19 to Aug. 21, featuring the classic rock festival and the popular car show, both of which were cancelled the past two years because of the pandemic.
The 40th anniversary of the event is expected to draw hundreds of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles to the streets of downtown and attract people from all over the province.
Clubs can register and reserve a spot at the event by emailing showandshine@rock102rocks.com. Individual classic car owners hoping to show off their pre-2002 vehicle can come down on Sunday morning on a first-come, first-served basis.
More details will be released in July about Rock 102’s Rock the River at at Bess Gardens at Delta Hotels by Marriott.
