The Saskatchewan Rattlers have already won as many games as they did all of last season.
The Rattlers came away with a 92-89 victory over the Niagara River Lions on Wednesday night at SaskTel Centre to kick off their Canadian Elite Basketball League season.
The team turned over the ball only 13 times in the game. Taking care of the ball was something head coach Dean Demopoulos emphasized with his players before the game.
Demopoulos is part of the newlook Rattlers organization that brought back only three players from the team that went 1-12 in 2021.
