On the same day CFL players face a big decision that could impact the start of the 2022 season, the Saskatchewan Roughriders decided to pause training camp.
The team announced Thursday morning practice and media availability are cancelled.

On Monday, CFL players rejected a proposed collective bargaining agreement that had tentatively been agreed to by the CFL Players’ Association.
Reports say the league has tabled a final offer and if the players don’t accept it by 10 p.m. on Thursday, the league will shut down training camps and will no longer pay for players’ room and board to keep them in their markets.
At this point, Riders camp is set to resume on Friday at 9 a.m., but that could change if the deadline passes without a decision from the players.
