A second person has been charged in connection with an incident that sent a 30-year-old woman to hospital with serious injuries.
According to the Regina Police Service, 34-year-old Ashley Rempel is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, forcible confinement and aggravated assault. A 24-year-old man also was charged in connection with the incident.
On May 23, police were called to the 1200 block of Garnet Street at about 2 a.m., for reports of an injured woman. She was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Rempel made her first court appearance Friday.
