A 59-year-old Regina woman has been charged after a hit-and-run sent a pedestrian to hospital Thursday.
Just before 5 p.m., police got a call about a car-pedestrian collision at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Albert Street.
At the scene, officers found a 32-year-old woman who had been hit by a car. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a red sedan. Officers then searched the area and found the car heading north on Angus Street toward Saskatchewan Drive.
They pulled over the car, arrested the woman who was driving and charged her with failing to stop after collision that resulted in bodily harm.
She’s to appear in Regina Provincial Court on Aug. 3.
