A 75-year-old man has been charged in connection with Regina’s fifth murder of 2022.
Kenneth Glen Hubick appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Monday on charges of second-degree murder and offering an indignity to a dead body.
On Friday, just before 2 p.m., Regina police officers responded to a call in the 1300 block of Oxford Bay in the Glencairn Village neighbourhood. Arriving at the scene, police found the body of a woman, who subsequently was pronounced dead.
The woman has been identified and her next of kin have been notified. Her family asked the Regina Police Service not to release the woman’s name.
No other details were released by police.
