Traffic restrictions will be in place on south Lewvan Drive from Wednesday until mid-July, affecting airport access.
According to the City of Regina, northbound traffic on Lewvan will not be permitted to turn left on Regina Avenue to access the airport on Thursday or Friday as the road is being repaved. Drivers heading to the airport will need to detour on Pasqua Street to Regina Avenue, or take 13th Avenue to Sandra Schmirler Way.
Drivers can expect additional delays on Lewvan Drive near Regina Avenue from July 4-18, as crews resurface the road. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the northbound lane, the City noted, and drivers will still be allowed to cross Lewvan using Regina Avenue.
The City thanked drivers for their understanding and patience while the work is completed, and asked drivers to slow down and stay safe in construction areas.
