Investigation underway after body is found in Regina

An investigation is taking place after a body was found on the 1200 block of Rae Street in the North Central neighbourhood early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the area around 2:20 a.m. where they found the man dead.

“Patrol officers secured the scene and requested additional resources including the Forensic Identification Unit and the coroner,” a statement by the police read. “The scene continues to be secured.

“At this early stage of the investigation, there are no other details for release to the public.”
