Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm watches for large areas of Saskatchewan Wednesday afternoon, and a severe thunderstorm warning for one small region.
The watches, which mean conditions are favourable for a severe storm, blanketed much of southwestern Saskatchewan as well as the east central parts of the province. The warning, which means severe weather conditions are already occurring or will occur, was put in place for the area around Hudson Bay and Porcupine Plain.
The specific areas currently covered by the watches and warnings can be found on Environment Canada’s website.
