Vehicle hung up on power box ties up traffic

Traffic was backed up on Winnipeg Street in Regina on Tuesday after a driver managed to get their vehicle hung up on a utility box.

A photo shared by Regina Fire & Protective Services showed the SUV with its front wheels high in the air, having apparently crossed the sidewalk before getting stuck.

Although their pride may have been injured, the fire department said the driver was not hurt. SaskPower workers also responded to the scene to help ensure everyone was safe.
