Regina police have charged a 50-year-old man after he allegedly spiked a 29-year-old woman’s drink and sexually assaulted her.
Police say they received a complaint on June 16. The woman told police the incident occurred on June 11 after she and the man had gone out for drinks.
While the two had drinks, the woman suspected the man of tampering with her drink and leaving.
The suspect was arrested June 30 and charged with administering a noxious substance with intent, overcoming resistance by administering/attempting to administer drug, and sexual assault.
