The Southey RCMP has released a composite sketch of the suspect in the sexual assault of a child in Govan.
The Mounties got a call that a preteen child had been approached June 9 by a man driving a black truck who assaulted the child.
The composite sketch was prepared by a Saskatchewan RCMP artist.
“We’re asking the public to take a look at this drawing. Does he look like someone you know, or have you seen him somewhere?” Southey RCMP Sgt. Kim Stewart said in a media release. “If you have, please report what you know. It may be the bit of information we need to further this investigation.”
The suspect is described as being about 28 to 30 years old and between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 in height with a medium build. He has dark hair and brown eyes with thick, bushy eyebrows. He also has yellowed teeth.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Southey RCMP at 306-726-5230 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Govan is about 110 kilometres north of Regina.
