A 64-year-old Regina man is facing charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a young person, and police believe there could be more victims in the community.
According to Regina police, Edwin Dwight Woolhether allegedly sexually assaulted the youth while he held a position of trust with the victim’s family.
“There is potential that other victims exist unreported,” police said in a statement. “Anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service.”
Woolhether is facing charges of sexually assaulting a minor, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching, police said. He made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
