Two sent to hospital following North Central blaze

Regina Fire and Protective Services says two people were treated for minor burn injuries and sent to hospital after a house fire broke out on the 1500 block of Athol Street just before 4 a.m.
Crews arrived quickly on scene and were able to contain the blaze shortly after their arrival.
The fire was contained to the main floor of the home. The fire inspector is attending the scene and more details on the blaze will be made available as information is received.
Two cats were also saved in the rescue efforts.
UPDATE: Regina Fire originally said three people had been sent to hospital with injuries. The fire department tells CJME that has now been reduced to two people.
