RCMP finds body believed to be that of missing man

Shellbrook RCMP received a report on Saturday afternoon that a body was discovered on the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, roughly 90 kilometres west of Prince Albert.

Investigators believe the person could be 22-year-old Isaiah Arcand.

Arcand was reported missing June 29 to local police.

According to a release, the circumstances surrounding Arcand’s death are not being considered suspicious at this time.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is now in the process of investigating and an autopsy will take place to confirm the identity.
