The Saskatchewan RCMP is looking to deliver a couple of arrests after the Canada Post office in Cadillac was broken into early Thursday morning.
Police said the thief or thieves went through the front door between midnight and 5 a.m.
They pried the inner door open with something metal to get inside, but weren’t able to get the safe open. Instead, the thief or thieves rummaged through the mail that was there, stole valuable coins and took cash from the register.
The RCMP said the camera system that had previously been installed was removed.
The village of Cadillac is about 65 kilometres south of Swift Current.
Anyone with information about this or other crimes is asked to call Saskatchewan RCMP.
