11:30 – How far do you travel to combine? Laura DaSilva and her family farm in the Beechy/Lucky Lake area and some of their land is on the other side Lake Diefenbaker. Thankfully, the Riverhurst Ferry is up and running (after its late start) or it would be about a five-hour ride in the combine. Laura joins Brent to tell us more about how harvest is going and what it’s like taking their large equipment on the ferry.
