One day later, the search continues for one of two suspects connected to the mass stabbing of at least 28 people in the communities of James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.
According to the RCMP, 10 people were killed and 18 others were hurt.
Following the violent attacks, messages of support for the people impacted began pouring in online.
Politicians in Canada, outside of the country, sports teams and many others have expressed their dismay at Sunday morning’s events.
The suspect still wanted by the police is Myles Sanderson. The other suspect, Damien Sanderson, was found dead Monday on the James Smith Cree Nation.
Myles is said to be 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a black Nissan Rogue with Saskatchewan licence plate 119 MPI.
Police said on Sunday night that there is a chance the suspect could have swapped vehicles.
