The largest planet in our solar system was a was at opposition, which means that planet earth is directly between the Sun and Jupiter. After 10 months of flying in space, NASA’s first attempt to move an asteroid in space was a success through NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). Samantha Lawler, Assistant Professor of Astronomy at Campion College, U of R discusses both these stories.
