Unseasonably warm conditions pushed the mercury into the low 30s Wednesday afternoon, causing 15 temperature records to tumble.
Leader was one of the hottest places in the province as it reached 33.1 C, breaking its previous record of 29.4 C set in 1967.
The Swift Current area reached 31.8 C yesterday, which broke the previous record of 29.4 C set all the way back in 1889. Temperature records in Swift Current have been kept since 1885.
Maple Creek was the second-hottest place in the province. It reached 32.4 C breaking the previous record of 28.7 C set in 2010.
