The Swift Current area reached 31.8 C yesterday, which broke the previous record of 29.4 C set all the way back in 1889. Temperature records in Swift Current have been kept since 1885.
Maple Creek was the second-hottest place in the province. It reached 32.4 C breaking the previous record of 28.7 C set in 2010.
