12:00 – There is a new discovery when it comes to the relationship between childhood diets and wisdom teeth. Elsa Van Ankum, an evolutionary developmental anthropology Ph.D. student at the University of Saskatchewan has been studying how diets from the industrial revolution may have impacted this. Through lab experiments, Van Ankum found that aspects such as lack of vitamin D contribute to tooth formation and growth. She joins Gormley to share more about her research.
