Healthy Halloween Passes are coming back to Regina in 2022.
According to the City of Regina, the passes “provide an alternative for residents who want to encourage active lifestyles or as an option for children who experience different allergies when they go out trick-or-treating later this month.”
The passes, which are used for free admission at any of the city’s leisure facilities, go on sale Thursday, and can be purchased at several locations including the Fieldhouse, Lawson Aquatic Centre, North West Leisure Centre, and Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre. The passes cost $6 for a package of 12.
“Treat a child to a free public skate, leisure swim, or drop-in basketball, badminton or tennis,” the city said in a release. “It’s one way of supporting active children in our city.”
City staff will also be handing out passes at several city facilities on Halloween day, Oct. 31.
