Regina police officers and firefighters were called to an area near Avenue C and Lakeshore Drive just before 3:30 p.m.
Police tape blocked the path and road to the southeast of the Legislative Building, and a boat could be seen on the water.
Contacted just after 3:30, Regina police didn’t have any details to share about the operation or if a search of any kind was underway.
