The City of Regina’s catalyst committee has completed its information sessions with residents about five proposed recreation and culture projects, but the public can still weigh in.
An online survey is available until Nov. 10, allowing people to offer their thoughts on a hockey arena, an aquatics centre, a baseball stadium, a soccer facility, and a revamped downtown library branch.
The presentations heard during the in-person sessions also can be found on the city’s website.
According to a release from the city, the survey already has generated more than 2,200 responses.
The committee held eight in-person events to discuss the new facilities and the city said a total of around 1,000 people attended.
“On behalf of myself and my co-chair, Tim Reid, we would like to thank the residents, stakeholders and project leads for the comprehensive and valued information shared to date. We look forward to learning more as we continue to discuss and evaluate the proposals,” Coun. Bob Hawkins, a co-chair of the committee, said in the release.
