The Tisdale RCMP is looking for suspects after a homemade bomb was found outside a business in the town Saturday.
According to a media release, the Mounties got a call at about 5:15 p.m., regarding a suspicious package behind a business.
RCMP officers and conservation officers from the Provincial Protective Services Branch evacuated nearby buildings and rerouted traffic. Officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) responded and found a small, homemade explosive/incendiary device that they disabled.
There weren’t any injuries reported.
The Tisdale RCMP and the EDU are investigating and are asking anyone with information to call the Tisdale detachment at 306-878-3810 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
