Two men are dead after a pair of crashes in the Regina area in recent days.
On Friday at about 4:30 p.m., officers from the White Butte RCMP got a report of a collision between a truck and a car at a rural intersection south of Pense.
The Mounties said the driver and lone occupant of the truck — a 34-year-old man from Wilcox — was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver of the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday at around 8:15 a.m., the White Butte RCMP was called about a rollover in the area of the Trans-Canada Highway and the Regina Bypass. The 31-year-old man from Regina who was driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The White Butte RCMP is investigating both crashes with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
